Explore the creative practice of visual journaling in this hands-on workshop series that blends art, writing, and personal reflection. Participants will experiment with mixed media and reflective journaling, releasing thoughts onto the page while setting aside dedicated time each week to connect with goals, and fellow participants in and around a peaceful garden setting.
All materials will be provided to spark creativity while exploring journaling styles that support well-being. There are no rules or right answers—just an opportunity to create, reflect, and express in a welcoming environment. Each session includes an optional opportunity to share and connect through the stories the journal tells.

Community Arts Lab: Photo Tracing Studio

Bring a printed copy of a favorite photograph (not the original) and use tracing methods and oil pastels to create a colorful portrait of a loved one, pet, or special memory. This beginner-friendly project transforms everyday photos into unique keepsakes or thoughtful handmade gifts.

Expressive Dance Collective - Session 8
December 3rd
3:00 - 4:30pm
Engage in mindful movement, joyful dancing and the creation of an original piece of choreography in this 9 week committed series. Participants will explore the balance of freedom and form, repetitive therapeutic movement and engaging in collaborative choreography. The focus is on expressive dance, modified to be accessible for all participants. The final session includes a public performance of the work created.
